There are four options available to individual investors wishing to invest in government securities.

Kiwi Bonds
Kiwi bonds are the main product available to individual investors. Kiwi bonds are offered directly to the New Zealand public.
Nominal Bonds
Nominal bonds can be purchased by large institutional investors and on-sold in smaller parcels to individual investors.
Inflation-Indexed Bonds
Inflation-indexed bonds can be purchased by large institutional investors and on-sold in smaller parcels to individual investors.
Treasury Bills
Treasury bills can be purchased by large institutional investors and on-sold in smaller parcels to individual investors.
